Herbs as food and medicine
Most of us take for granted the medicinal value of the spices and seasonings we could use for healing on a daily basis.
Take basil for example: a common culinary used extensively can regulate your blood sugar.
Or rosemary, good for seasoning potatoes, is also a natural antidepressant and memory enhancer. Rosemary is also antifungal and can be used internally or externally to help the skin. Rosemary oil brushed on the hair before or after shampoo can tonify the scalp and make the hair follicles healthier. When used as a tea or facial steam, rosemary counteracts mold and can clear up the sinus cavities which are all over the head—So antiseptic!
Also a plus for the horitculturist its easy to propigate by cuttings!
