If we accept intuitively that the earth is our body then wild plants intimately connected to the earth can be the most beneficial to our bodies. Chlorophyll in plant material is closest in constituency to our blood.

And the minerals that plant material gives us are the most *bioavailable to our bodies. In these days of climate change extreme weather the adaptability and ability to survive of the wild plants has the potential to really strengthen our bodies. Herbs that can survive extremes in climate can still provide pack more in one cup of tea than most cultivated plants from the supermarket.

For instance amaranth or pigweed, as it is called in the colloquial, survives and thrives and volunteers in all different and difficult environmental conditions. You can use it as a potherb and steam when green or dry the seeds and put them in your granola or cereal mix. High in amino acids , vitamins, and minerals the leaves make a nutritional addition to the mountain spirit herb soup mix. Wild greens and cultivated garden greens and basil, oregano, etc combine in Soup Mix to make a seasoning for pasta, rice and dips.. Use miso . nut butter, or yogurt, sour cream as a base for your dip and add additional curry powder or tumeric and hemp or flax oil—you cant duplicate the flavor, nutrition and blood cleansing benefits.
